The invention relates to a mounting arrangement adapted to extend an aircraft table with an additional table, the aircraft table being of the type that can be brought from a position where the air table abuts against the back of an airplane seat to another position where the back of the airplane seat is moved to a horizontal position, thereby providing a gap between the edge of the air table facing the back of the airplane seat.
As is generally known, the space between the seats of an aircraft is limited.
In addition to an airplane seat, the space is used to place a swivel airplane table, with the airplane table positioned on the back of an airplane seat. In use, the table is swung from a position on the back of an airplane seat to a horizontal position. The oscillation typically takes place by the table being suspended in swivel hangers. Another option is to use sliding rails, where the flight table is pulled out after a swing of the sliding rods with the flight table.
In both cases, there is a gap between the edge of the flight table facing the back of the airplane seat.
It is now an object of the invention to utilize the space hole.

According to the invention, a mounting bar 5 is provided near an edge 7 of the aircraft table facing the back of the aircraft seat, on which connection elements 3,3a are arranged as explained below.

Referring now to FIG. 3, it must be explained how the extra aircraft table is mounted.
In FIG. 3, the connecting elements 3, 3a are found. These have an opening leading to a cavity 9 bounded by walls 9, 9a, 9c. These walls are designed so that they can grip the connecting rod 5, having a geometry so that it can accommodate the connecting elements 3, 3a.
As can be further seen, the connecting elements have a slot 15 which terminates in a hole 16. The slot 10 and the hole 13 cause the connecting elements to provide some elasticity which facilitates the application of the connecting elements to the rod 5. 11 is a dovetail shaped pin which can be engage the rail 5. As can be seen, the rail 5 has a groove 13 adapted to receive the auxiliary table 8, the auxiliary table being designed as an L, where the short side denoted 12 in the L can engage the groove 13.
